SHAWNEE, Oklahoma – Multiple fire departments battled two wildfires three miles north of Shawnee near Prague Tuesday afternoon.

Prague police said the fires had spread near Garrett's Lake Road on State Highway 18. The fires are deemed suspicious and authorities said there were reports of a white vehicle in the area where the fires were started.

Fire crews from Earlsboro, Meeker and Prague assisted with the fires including seven brush pumpers. The fire burned over 25 acres.

No homes were in danger, but high winds were making it difficult for firefighters.
