NORMAN, Oklahoma -- A woman was killed and a man was critically injured in a Norman house fire early Sunday morning.
Fire crews were called out to a home in the 1600 block of Chamblee around 3 a.m.
Six people inside the home were able to make it out, but a 64-year-old woman was killed. A 26-year-old man was transported to the hospital in critical condition.
The American Red Cross is working with the surviving family members to provide shelter, food, clothes and counseling, according to spokesperson Rusty Surette.
No names have been released. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
