Crews Repair Road In N.W. OKC Where Crash Ignited Explosion

OKLAHOMA CITY -- Crews are working to repair the road near Northwest Expressway and Sara Road after a tanker truck crash ignited an explosion on Friday, damaging the roadway.

The truck was hauling 6,500 gallons of diesel fuel and 1,500 gallons of gasoline when a passenger car collided with the truck running it off the roadway at Northwest Expressway and Sara Road.

No one was seriously injured in the crash.

Lanes in the area will be narrowed through Friday while crews make repairs.
