Wreck Slows East, Westbound Traffic On Britton Road

OKLAHOMA CITY -- A wreck on Britton Road just west of Broadway Extension slowed traffic early Wednesday evening.

Rescue crews were on the scene.

A white car had a green light going north on the Broadway Extension Service Road. Authorities said a Saturn SUV clipped the white car when the driver ran a red light going westbound on Britton Road.

The SUV lost control and flipped several times, ejecting the driver. The driver is in stable condition at a local hospital.

No names were released.
