OKLAHOMA CITY -- Oklahoma City police are searching for two men, one with a handgun, who forced their way into an Oklahoma Christian University dorm room and robbed a student.
The student says someone knocked on his door at 4:30 a.m. on Sunday, March 27. When the student asked who it was, someone on the other side of the door claimed to be an employee of the university.
The student says when he opened the door, a man with a handgun pushed him back into his room and onto the couch. Another man entered right behind him. The victim says the man with the gun pushed him down and hit him in the face while the other man looked around the room for items to steal.
The crooks grabbed the student's laptop computer, cell phone and wallet. When the victim tried to get up, the man with the gun hit him in the face again before both robbers ran out of the room with the stolen items.
After the robbers left, the student knocked on a friend's door and used that person's cell phone to call police.
The Oklahoma City Police Department's Robbery Unit says a similar incident happened at Oklahoma Christian University on Tuesday, March 8.
