OKLAHOMA CITY -- Detectives with the Oklahoma City Police Department are on the look out for a burglary suspect.
Police say 19-year-old Erik Cornejo is wanted in connection with the burglary of a home at 2716 S.W. 62nd on April 13. Cornejo also goes by the name Barbosa.
According to detectives, the victim came home and saw that her front door was wide open. Several items were missing from inside the house.
Officers located Cornejo at 1029 S.W. 61st, but he escaped from police custody, and was last seen running on foot from this location.
Cornejo currently has several active warrants: Burglary, False Declaration to a Pawn Broker, Possession of a Firearm AFCF, Larceny, Escape Custody and Failure to Appear.
