MOORE, Oklahoma -- Two Oklahoma Highway Patrol Troopers are being called heroes after saving save a man's life on the side of Interstate 35.
Hector Mijares passed out in Moore Thursday morning after an accident on I-35. When troopers got to him, they found he wasn't breathing and called an ambulance before starting chest compressions, saving his life.
Hector Mijares' wife, Nenita, said she was grateful the troopers were there.
"I cannot thank them enough. They're great. They were there at the time they were needed," Nenita said.
Hector was transported to the Norman Heart Hospital.
