Man Revived By OHP Troopers Along I-35 Dies

A man who was revived by Oklahoma Highway Patrol troopers after a wreck on I-35 last week has died, according to a hospital official.

NORMAN, Oklahoma -- A man who was revived by Oklahoma Highway Patrol troopers after a wreck on I-35 last week has died, according to a hospital official.

Hector Mijares passed out in Moore Thursday morning after an accident on I-35. When troopers got to him, they found he wasn't breathing and called an ambulance before starting chest compressions.

Mijares was transported to Norman Heart Hospital where he later died, according to hospital spokesperson Kelly Wells.
