My 2 Cents: Royal Wedding

I proudly take my place among the common rabble, the great unwashed who couldn't care less about the forthcoming royal wedding.

Didn't care when it was Charles and Diana, don't care now that it's Prince William and Lady Katie... or whatever they're calling her. I just don't get it.

Ladies, is it the fairy tale notion of marrying a Prince that will lure millions of you to network or Internet coverage of the wedding? These are pretend Royals you know.

They don't have any authority and shouldn't because they haven't really experienced any semblance of real life that you would hope your leaders could draw on.

I could see some curiosity from the female perspective, trying to imagine yourself thrust into a life of luxury and privilege in the world spotlight.

I guess guys will watch it too, but for the life of me I can't imagine why.

Seriously, I can't come up with any reason.

Write in and let me know any of you guys who intend to watch it and aren't embarrassed to admit it.
