OKLAHOMA CITY -- Police arrested one juvenile and two adult suspects in connection to a drive-by shooting following a short pursuit on Oklahoma City's northeast side Tuesday.
Tyrel James, 17, was arrested on a drive-by shooting warrant.
Jonathon Bledsoe, 19, was arrested for felony eluding, possession of a controlled, dangerous substance on school property and possession of a firearm on school property.
Elijah Crutcher, 18, was arrested for possession of a firearm and possession of a controlled, dangerous substance on school property.
Officers were en route to make contact with the three early Tuesday afternoon at Seaworth Academy when two of the three suspects fled in a car leading police on a short chase before crashing at Hefner and Kelley. The suspects then fled on foot and were apprehended without incident. The other suspect surrendered to police at the school.
The trio was wanted for questioning in a drive-by shooting April 16, which injured one man in the 200 block of NW 83rd St.
Witnesses to the shooting reported seeing three black males in a car near the intersection of N.W. 83rd and Kelley. When officers arrived, they found shell casings in the street. A gunshot victim was later located at Baptist Hospital.
