Under the El Paso Sun...Prediction

Of the 34 bowl games this season, the Brut Sun Bowl strikes me as one of the more intriguing. Jim Harbaugh vs Bob Stoops. Toby Gerhart vs Gerald McCoy. OU's bowl slump vs Stanford's first bowl trip in eight years. Of the non-BCS games I think this will get about as many eyeballs as any.

Prediction: I think the Sooners end their skid. I don't think anybody can just line up and run the ball down OU's throat. And I'm not convinced Tavita Pritchard, Stanford's backup quarterback, is good enough to burn the Sooners through the air. Landry Jones has been inspired by all the talk about a QB battle next year. And I think Ryan Broyles will have a big game against a very average Cardinal defense.

First team to 20 wins this one. I say that's OU: 24-14.
