My First Crush

The Thunder and the Hornets meet tomorrow night in the Ford Center and I can't help but think back to a year and a half ago when the Sonics officially headed our way. If you took a poll of local fans they would've voted 10-to-1 that they would rather have their beloved CP3 and the Bees back rather than the ragtag losers from Seattle.

But now....well now Sam Presti has assembled one of the most entertaining teams in the NBA. And there's no doubt who the 18,000-plus in the Ford Center Wednesday will be cheering for.

Don't get me wrong, there's still a soft spot for Chris Paul in this town. But the hearts of OKC NBA fans now unquestionably belong to the Thunder. A bright future, a fun team and management that can't seem to make a wrong move.

The Hornets may have been Oklahoma City's 1st crush. But the Thunder is now way hotter!
