The college carousel has spun nicely for the Sooners this offseason. I think several of OU's mortal enenemies are worse off. Texas Tech hiring Tommy Tuberville? Welcome to only scoring 13 points a game Red Raiders. USC hiring Lane Kiffin? That's like an alcoholic becoming best friends with Otis the town drunk. The Trojans are about to become a college football disaster. And if Will Muschamp goes to Tennessee there should be high-fiving and rejoicing in the streets of Norman. Muschamp has taken the Texas defense to another level.

The only hire so far that I think could negatively affect the Sooners is Kansas nabbing Turner Gill. I think he'll do a nice job in Lawrence and definitely make the Jayhawks a bigger contender on the recruiting trail.
