In a year that has so far been shrouded in disappointment for the OU men's basketball team, there has been a bright spot. Cade Davis has been a warrior. The pride of Elk City has provided the one thing that his teammates have had a hard time providing...effort!

Saturday he tallied a double-double despite spending his night vomiting, receiving two IV's before the game and one more IV at halftime. He has been the glue to a team that has threatened to fly apart at times this season. And Saturday's effort was inspirational.

If the rest of the Sooners can match Cade's level of commitment they may be able to turn a season in turmoil into a late push for The Dance. Sick, wounded or weary, Cade has played hard. Some of his teammates should follow his example. (Hear me Tiny?)
