I was pretty convinced OU was going to win Sunday night in San Antonio. I liked what I saw from Sherri Coale's crew this weekend at the Final Four. They had a chip on their shoulder. They felt slighted...like everyone was overlooking them. They were right.

OU was the "oh, by the way" team at this gathering. UConn had won 76-in-a-row. Stanford was 35-1. Baylor had Brittney Griner. And "oh, by the way" Oklahoma was here as well.

They seemed confident and ready. But there is no remedy for not being able to put the ball in the basket. Stanford decided to not guard the Sooners on the perimeter and OU simply couldn't make them pay...shooting 25% in the first half and just 4-of-17 from three-point range. It was a bad night to have a bad night.
