OU vs Utah State Prediction

Every Friday throughout the OU season I will give you a prediction for the Sooners. It wont necessarily be what I think the score will be, but a prediction of something to look for from OU that week.

For the opener against Utah State keep an eye on #33. Freshman Trey Millard has been the toast of fall camp. The fullback/tight end has received glowing reviews from coaches and teammates alike. He can catch the ball and carry it.

But look for this on Saturday...when OU goes I-formation with DeMarco Murray deep and Millard as a lead blocker, it could be a deadly combination. Especially in short yardage situations. Millards blocking skills out of the backfield are apparently off the charts.

Prediction: The Millard/Murray combination is one of the biggest storylines coming out of the Sooners season-opening win over Utah State.
