First, OU was RIDDLED by injuries...an epic number of injuries to key players...season-ending, game-plan changing injuries. Texas has suffered very few injuries this season. They had to replace Colt McCoy and Jordan Shipley, but that wasnt a surprise. They had the spring and fall to get players ready.
And second, OUs five losses in 2009 were five respectable losses...BYU, at Miami, Texas, at Nebraska and at Texas Tech. With the exception of Tech all were close and none of them at home. None of them even close to the class of losing to UCLA, Iowa State and Baylor AT HOME!
As bad as last year was for the Sooners, it was nothing close to what is going on this year in Austin.
