And Just Like That...He's Gone

It was Haleys Comet. The Dana Holgorsen Era will be remembered as a flash across the night sky. He came. He conquered. He stayed in a motel. And just like that...he was gone.

Holgorsen capped his brief tenure as OSUs Offensive Coordinator with an impressive bowl victory Wednesday night in San Antonio. He was innovative and interesting. His personality as confusing as his hair style. But, according to the Wall Street Journals "scientific study," Dana was the best OC in America this season. (BTW, according to the same study, Kevin Wilson was #2.)

Now Holgorsen is off to be a Mountain Man and OSU must find another play caller. Vanished almost before he appeared, but brilliantly eye-opening while he was here.

The Holgorsen Comet is gone.
