Capel's Luck

You wanna know what kind of year it has been for Jeff Capel? His Sooners go grab their most impressive win of the season Saturday...out-hustling, out-executing and out-playing a good Colorado team. OUs 2nd win in-a-row and biggest sign that this young team is improving and worthy of praise. And Ill be a monkeys uncle if two football players didnt run off and get arrested and take the headlines.

Thats just about right...isnt it? Nothing has gone right for Capels crew for a couple of years now...and finally a day full of optimism and promise and it gets pushed to page 2 by the police blotter.

Im sure Bob Stoops was upset with Kenny Sills and Tony Jefferson Saturday night. But I bet Jeff Capel was even madder. In addition to the charges they are already facing, they should add one count of grand theft for stealing the spotlight.
