BLAKE SHOW TAKES ON THUNDER IN OKC

Would Blake Griffin be nervous coming home? So much expected. Could he be tired from a busy All-Star weekend?

No. Or shall I say NO! At least not his start. He put OKC’s two power forwards on the bench by the middle of the first with two fouls (Jeff Green and then Serge Ibaka). When Ibaka hit the pine at the 6:32 mark of the first quarter, Griffin’s numbers looked like this: Ten points and five rebounds. Most impressive so far is his crisp passing.

After one it’s 23-23, Blake with 14/6 and KD with 13/3 and a steal. Blake just picked up his second and takes a seat.

Sam Bradford in the house. Big OU contingent here to see Griffin. Joe Carter in the house. World Series MVP and All-World good guy. Toast of Millwood. And brother Fred can put the best shine on your car you’ve ever seen. Former Sooner Jermaine Gresham in the house. The Bengal TE could play a pretty mean game of bball at Ardmore HS.
