Southwest OKC Man Shoots Self During Police Standoff

OKLAHOMA CITY -- An early morning police standoff in southwest Oklahoma City ended when a man holed up inside a house shot himself.

Officers went to the home near S.W. 112th Street and Western early Saturday morning after a woman called police to report a child had been molested.

Neighbors told News 9 the woman who called police was the alleged victim's mother, and she and the little girl left the house before officers arrived.

The man was taken to the hospital to be treated for his gunshot wound.

Police say the man is not expected to survive.
