OKLAHOMA CITY -- Ten-year-old Chance Sullivan got the red carpet treatment at the Red Cross Friday. Not because it was his birthday really, because that was way back on May 2.

The decision to move his party to Memorial Day weekend changed everything.

Chance's new friends were quite ready for him Friday. Cake and all. You see Chance donated his birthday haul to the Red Cross to help people affected by last week's tornados.

For most kids, giving up their birthday money in order to serve others would have been extremely difficult, but for Chance that decision, was a piece of cake.

Chance admits he doesn't watch much TV news, but last week's coverage really got to him, and made him feel something.

And that's just what Chance and his friends gave them, $281.00.
