Minivan Hits Woman In Southeast Oklahoma City

OKLAHOMA CITY – A woman is recovering in the hospital after a minivan struck her near S.E. 44th Street and Shields.

The woman was crossing the street when she was hit around 3:45 a.m. Monday. Police say she was wearing dark clothing and the driver of the minivan may not have seen her.

Neighbors say the woman lives in the area and often goes for long walks.

The driver was not ticketed.
