OKLAHOMA CITY -- A three-vehicle accident in southwest Oklahoma City injured four people, including a baby, Sunday evening.
The accident happened near S.W. 44th and Mustang Road shortly before 7 p.m. At least one car rolled over and came to rest in a ditch. One police officer said that wreckage was strewn for two or three blocks along Mustang Road.
Witnesses told News 9 a man and a baby were trapped inside the overturned SUV for several minutes.
The man was airlifted to a local hospital. The baby and two other victims were transported by ambulance. The conditions of the victims have not been made available.
Mustang Road was closed between S.W. 29th and S.W. 44th for several hours.
Officers at the scene said accidents along this stretch of road happen frequently.
