OKLAHOMA CITY -- The U.S. Attorney for Oklahoma's Western District has filed federal charges against two men accused of pulling pantyhose over their heads and robbing metro banks.

FBI agents and Oklahoma City police arrested Terry Lee Kinney, 53, and Edmond J. Itson, 58 on June 2 in a shopping center parking lot. The men are accused of robbing four banks:

  • The Bank of Oklahoma at 4324 SE 44th Street, Del City on May 6
  • The Coppermark Bank at 6809 North Meridian, Oklahoma City on May 11
  • The Midfirst Bank at 810 Southwest 44th Street, Oklahoma City on May 23
  • The Bank of the West at 1600 Southwest 89th Street, Oklahoma City on June 2

Investigators recovered evidence from the May 23rd robbery at Midfirst Bank that helped them identify Kinney as one of the robbers. FBI agents then learned Itson was one of his associates.

If convicted, Kinney and Itson could each be sentenced to 20 years in prison, and ordered to pay a $250,000 fine.
