OKLAHOMA CITY -- A 49-year-old Shawnee man faces up to 30 years in federal prison for producing child porn.
Richard Don Hilburn pleaded guilty Wednesday. According to court records, an FBI agent in Los Angeles caught Hilburn sharing child porn online during an undercover sting operation. FBI agents in Oklahoma then got a search warrant and seized the computer hard drives from Hilburn's Shawnee home. They discovered 12,000 pictures and 1,000 videos of child porn. Among the images were pictures Hilburn had taken himself of a young child.
A U.S. district judge will sentence Hilburn in approximately 90 days. He faces a sentence of up to 30 years, but no less than 15 years in federal prison.
