Pottawatomie County Toddler's Death Ruled A Homicide

The Pottawatomie County Sheriff's Office is investigating the death of a 2-year-old boy.

EARLSBORO, Oklahoma -- The Pottawatomie County Sheriff's Office is investigating the death of a 2-year-old boy.

Justin Netzel stopped breathing Sunday morning while at his grandparent's house in Earlsboro. The Oklahoma Medical Examiner's Office ruled the child died from a blunt force injury to his stomach, and classified the death as a homicide.

The Pottawatomie County district attorney says it investigates all suspicious child deaths.

A funeral for Justin will be held Thursday in Holdenville.
