STILLWATER, Oklahoma – It's a play that football fans will remember for a long time, and now the star defensive men who made it happen have been nominated for ESPY Award.

During the Bedlam game on Nov. 27, Brodrick Brown and Shaun Lewis combined for a stunning play in which Brown flew through the air avoiding the out of bounds line to intentionally deflect the ball back into play, in the hands of Lewis for the interception.

That play not only got the Cowboys some national attention, but also got Brown and Lewis included on the list of 16 ESPY Award Nominees in the Best Play category.

Now the play is in the hands of the fans.

Fans will now cast their votes to select the finalists by voting online at espn.com/espys.

The top plays are seeded and placed into a bracket for fans to vote for their favorites. They will be narrowed down until the final four plays remain which will be revealed during the ESPYs Countdown show on July 13th on ESPN.

Fans will continue to vote for the four finalists leading up to and during the live show and the winner will be announced on stage.

Brown and Lewis are the No. 6 seed up against the No. 11 seed Anthony Pettis, who connected on a kick in an MMA fight.

Voting for the first round of 16 runs from July 1-July 6 and fans can cast their vote at espn.com/espys.
