OKLAHOMA CITY -- Oklahoma City's first responders are working together to help the Regional Food Bank
They've put together Meals by Medics after going into homes across the metro and seeing people's needs for good, nutritional food including meats, vegetables and fruits.
"We go into these houses every day, us and the firefighters," Caitlin Holland, an emergency medical technician with EMSA. "We see starvation as a problem, malnutrition as a problem. These people are having to make decisions between buying food for their families or paying for medication or paying for their rent."
Donations can be dropped off at any Oklahoma City fire station or EMSA headquarters at 1111 Classen Dr. or 2323 S. Walker until July 22nd.
