OKC Robbery Suspects Try To Swipe Fireworks On Independence Day

OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahoma City police caught one suspect, but are still searching for two more in an early Monday morning robbery at a fireworks stand.

Police say several people broke a padlock on the stand near N.E. 23rd Street and Spencer Road and began shoving fireworks into a car. One of the employees of the fireworks stand happened to see the group, and called police.

When officers arrived they found a woman trying to speed away in a car stuffed full of stolen fireworks. Police arrested her, but say two more suspects got away.
