STERLING, Oklahoma -- A capacity crowd filled the Sterling school auditorium Thursday afternoon for the funeral of 76-year-old James Bragg.
Bragg was killed Sunday morning when a car left the highway and struck Bragg, who was sitting outside a restaurant.
"James never bothered nobody," says Sterling resident Kenneth Snider. "He helped everybody he was around."
Bragg was known for his loyal support of Sterling High School baseball. Players like Dillon White say he never missed a game.
"I seen him behind home plate at all of our games. He was always there," says White.
Meanwhile, 20 year old Colby Hamlin has been charged with first degree manslaughter in Bragg's death.
