OKLAHOMA CITY – An Oklahoma City man is now being charged for a robbery he had committed back in 2008, thanks to the DNA samples police recovered from his clothes he had left in the field, near the scene.
Twenty-eight-year-old Christopher Rydell Wilson committed robbery at the Subway on 5745 and Martin Luther King Jr. in Oklahoma City on October 13, 2008. He had told the workers to lie on the floor, and robbed them at gunpoint.
Police found Wilson's clothing in the nearby field.
With the DNA samples they discovered from the clothing items, police were able to identify Wilson as a match for the suspect.
This was not the only crime Wilson was involved in.
Wilson was originally arrested on a warrant for failing to appear in court for an attempted rape.
