Ames Man Killed In One Car Accident In Major County

RINGWOOD, Oklahoma -- A one-vehicle accident in Major County claimed the life of an Ames, Oklahoma man Sunday the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported.

Stephen Bussell, 27, was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident on SH 58 three-and-a-half miles south of Ringwood about 3 a.m.

The highway patrol reported Bussell's pickup was northbound on SH 58 when it exited the roadway to the left, crossed the roadway to the right, entered a broad slide and rolled three-and-a-half times before coming to rest on its roof.

The driver was wearing his seatbelt at the time of the accident according to the OHP report.
