MIDWEST CITY, Oklahoma – A Midwest City family scrambled to safety Tuesday night after a car crashed into the front of their house near N.E. 19th Street and St. Lukes.
Police say just after 10 p.m., a car containing four juveniles slammed into the house. After the crash, everyone inside the car ran away.
The family living in the house scrambled to get out because there were gas lines inside they were afraid might explode.
"I heard them hit the mailbox and I couldn't even say anything," said Jeffrey Herrington. "I heard them hit it and then I heard them hit the house and the pictures were falling and stuff."
No one was hurt. Police caught all four juveniles who ran from the scene.
