CLEVELAND COUNTY, Oklahoma – A two-car accident claimed the life of a Norman man just before midnight on Saturday in Cleveland County, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported.
Twenty-seven-year-old Jeffries Lee Abbott was pronounced dead at the hospital after the accident had happened.
According to the accident report, a Chevrolet Elcamino driven by 30-year-old Tonya Smallwood was southbound on 180th Street. Smallwood attempted to make a left turn into Alameda and failed to yield to another car traveling north on the same street. It struck Smallwood's car on the passenger side.
