Man Poses As Relief Worker To Sell Water To SE OKC Fire Victims

The American Red Cross says a man is posing as a relief worker and trying to sell bottles of water to those affected by the grassfire in Southeast Oklahoma City.

OKLAHOMA CITY -- The American Red Cross says a man is posing as a relief worker and trying to sell bottles of water to those affected by the grassfire in Southeast Oklahoma City.

Witnesses have described the man as an older white man with a white beard in a dark colored pickup truck. He has a t-shirt on that says "Give Blood." He was also wearing sunglasses and a green hat with tan colored pants.

The Red Cross was notified that a man is posing as a Red Cross volunteer and attempting to sell bottles of water for $7 to fire victims.

If you see this man, contact the Red Cross immediately at 405-202-0010.

Red Cross disaster assistance is always free and officials are notifying the proper authorities of this situation.
