OKLAHOMA CITY – An anonymous Crime Stoppers tip leads Oklahoma City police to a suspect in a 2005 homicide.

Cord Linder was shot and killed July 7, 2005, at the corner of S.W. 33rd Street and Robinson Avenue. Police say the 36-year-old man was riding his bicycle to a friend's house when he began arguing with two men in a pickup truck. Police say one of the men shot and killed Linder, then the truck sped away.

Police made an arrest in the case last week after someone phoned in an anonymous tip to Crime Stoppers. The tip led them to 30-year-old Levi Dean. Dean is currently in the Cimarron Correctional Facility in Cushing on unrelated charges.

Investigators say they plan to turn their evidence over to the Oklahoma County District Attorney, who will likely charge Dean with first-degree murder.
