OKLAHOMA CITY -- Oklahoma City police have identified a man who was shot in the chest after opening his front door early Monday morning in northeast Oklahoma City.
Delano Jackson, 34, lives near N.E. 14th Street and MLK. Jackson heard something out on his porch around 4:20 a.m. Monday, Aug. 8. Police say he opened his front door and seconds later someone in a black ski mask shot him.
Jackson was hit at least twice in the chest. He was rushed to a local hospital where he underwent surgery and is now listed in critical condition.
Police also tell News 9 drugs were found in the house, and the shooting may be drug related.
Police have not identified any suspects and are still searching for the gunman.
