UNDATED – The cities of Edmond and Moore have followed Oklahoma City's lead and ended the mandatory odd/even watering rotation program.
Edmond and Moore made the announcement Thursday, a few hours after Oklahoma City. The rotation program helped the cities maintain adequate water pressure during the record-breaking heat wave.
However, both cities stressed the metro is still experiencing an extreme drought, and they encouraged residents to continue to conserve water. They offer this advice:
