NORMAN, Oklahoma – The beginning of the high school football season is rapidly approaching, and News9 is traveling throughout the area to talk to coaches and players about the season.
Friday News9 stopped in Norman to talk to Norman North head coach Wade Stanley, who is entering his first season as the leader on the Timberwolves' sidelines.
The Timberwolves suffered through a disappointing 3-7 season last year that concluded with three consecutive losses. Former head coach Lance Manning left the team after the season and has since been given the same position at Edmond North.
Stanley is installing new offense, and the Wolves have just two returning starters on that side of the ball. But Stanley said his new starters are picking things up quickly.
