Scott Verplank Tied For Fourth After Three Rounds At PGA Open

The former Oklahoma State golfer is in the running heading into the final round.

JOHNS CREEK, Georgia -- Former OSU golfer Scott Verplank is in fourth place after three rounds at the 2011 PGA Championship.

Verplank shot a 1-under on Saturday at is sitting at (-5) for the weekend.

Jason Dufner and Brendan Steele sit atop the leaderboard at (-7).

Former Cowboy Hunter Mahan climbed up the leaderboard to a tie for 20th on Saturday.

Mahan is tied with another former Oklahoma State player, Alexander Noren, who also moved up 19 spots on Saturday.

Verplank will tee off at 1:30 p.m. central time on Sunday with third-place golfer Keegan Bradley.
