OKC Police Arrest Man Accused Of Murder

Police have arrested a suspect accused of killing a homeless man near downtown Oklahoma City.

OKLAHOMA CITY – Police have arrested a suspect accused of killing a homeless man near downtown Oklahoma City.

Someone called Oklahoma City police to the 1300 block of W. Reno on Saturday, August 20. When officers arrived, they found a man dead behind a warehouse. The injuries to his body were consistent with a homicide.

Detectives interviewed several people at the location. Investigators quickly determined 43-year-old Robert Redbone was a suspect in the homicide. He was located near N.W. 4th Street and Western. Police took him into custody. He's in the Oklahoma County Jail on one complaint of first-degree murder.

Police have not yet released the victim's identity. They are still trying to notify his family.
