EDMOND, Oklahoma -- Police officers are trying to solve property crimes all around the metro and those investigations take time--sometimes weeks if not months.

What if you could help solve one of those crimes in an instant or alert your neighbors if a thief has targeted you?

One Edmond man has come up with a website that can alert you when a break in or something else happens near your home or business. And that alert will come right to your computer or smart phone.

Paul Conrady has been in the home security business for more than 30 years and knows a thing or two about crime prevention.

"For 30 years, we've taken videos of crimes. Some of them have been on the news. Two of those have been solved," he said.

Now he's launched a website called Crimeseen.com and the information you can find on it is amazing.

"I've got several crimes here where people doing the crime are on the phone and no one questions them," Conrady said.

Everything from maps, to videos to lost or stolen items are put up on the site daily.

"It's instantly delivered to the Crimescene members based on what they created as a patrol radius," he said.

Conrady already has hundreds of people signed up for the service sharing their crime experiences, hoping to get them solved and to warn others about what's happened.

"We've solved approximately six to seven crimes already," he said.

And he hopes to solve and prevent several more through this virtual neighborhood watch.

"There's not a more efficient way to get crime out of your neighborhood than to communicate to your neighbors. It's a crime-fighting social network."

Conrady's service is free and can be accessed by going to Crimeseen.com and entering an e-mail address and a home or business address, and entering a patrol radius to be covered in the search.
