One Car Accident In Dewey County Kills Seiling Man

VICI, Oklahoma -- A Seiling man died of his injuries Sunday following a traffic accident in Dewey County Saturday night, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported.

Aaron Lee Dixon, 26, was injured in a one-car accident about 10:30 p.m. on US 60 about five miles east of Vici.

The trooper's report stated that Dixon's truck was eastbound, ran off the roadway to the right, skidded back onto and off the roadway to the left, re-entered the roadway and skidded off to the right before his truck overturned 1 1/4 times coming to rest on the driver's side.  Dixon was ejected from the vehicle.

Dixon was transported by air ambulance to the Oklahoma University Medical Center in Oklahoma City where he died in surgery in the early morning hours, the trooper's report stated.

The report also said Dixon was not wearing a seatbelt and that the investigating trooper noticed the odor of alcohol.
