UPDATE: SH17, 2 miles West of Rush Springs in Grady County is shut down due to a large grass fire.
LINDSAY, Oklahoma -- Firefighters are battling a wildfire in Garvin County.
The fire is burning west and south of Lindsay. Several fire departments are responding including Lindsay, Mayfield, Rush Springs, Cox City and Alex.
The fire is reportedly very large and not under control. No word on what caused the fire. No structures or lives are being threatened at this time.
