AMBER, Oklahoma – Agents with the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation have arrested the assistant police chief of the Amber Police Department.
Agents took 35-year-old Brian Lee Kepler into custody Tuesday, August 30. He was arrested on one count of feloniously pointing a firearm. The charge stems from an incident at Kepler's home.
Investigators say Kepler and his wife got into an argument at their home on the night of August 24. OSBI agents say during the argument, Kepler pointed a gun at his wife and began speaking about killing his family and then himself.
Kepler's wife says he waved the gun near their twin 2-year-old children and said, "Which one do you want me to shoot first?"
Kepler was booked into the Grady County Jail.
