OKLAHOMA CITY -- Police are investigating a stolen car incident that ended with an officer firing at a suspect Wednesday night.

Police said officers were searching for a stolen car when they were called to investigate reports of a possible shooting at Express Gas and Gro at Northwest Expressway and Wilshire Blvd.

While there, police spotted the stolen car and followed the vehicle to the 7200 block of Lyrewood Lane where four suspects exited the car.

Police spokesman Sergeant Gary Knight said one man reached for his waist where an officer saw a gun.  The officer fired at the suspect but missed.

The four suspects were arrested without further incident.

Police have not released the identities of the suspects.

The officer who fired his weapon was placed on paid administrative leave.

No injuries were reported and police recovered the stolen vehicle.
