Logan County Father Arrested For Child Abuse

EDMOND, Oklahoma -- A Logan County father is arrested and charged with sexually abusing his own children.

Brian Montgomery faces eight counts of child sexual abuse, two counts of child neglect and three counts of child abuse. According to the Logan County Sheriff's Office, a school counselor with Edmond Public Schools, where the two children attended, tipped off deputes about the suspected abuse.

After further investigation, deputies went to Montgomery's home and arrested him without incident. Montgomery is out on $105,000 bond.

The children have been put in the state's custody.
