UPDATE: An Edmond man who has been missing since Tuesday afternoon has returned home, according to Edmond police.
Police have canceled silver alert issued for Michael Smith, who was reported missing since 5:24 p.m. when he left his home to get pancakes, and has not returned.

EDMOND, Oklahoma – The Edmond Police Department has issued a silver alert for a 65-year-old man who has been missing since Tuesday afternoon.
Police say Michael Smith was last seen at 2208 Colchester Terrace in Edmond at 5:24 p.m. He left his home to get pancakes and has not returned.
According to police, Smith stands 5 feet 10 inches tall, and weighs 280 pounds. He has hazel eyes, brown hair, mustache and goatee, and wears glasses. He was wearing loose fitting jeans, and plaid short sleeve shirt light in color.
Police say Smith was driving a red, four-door, 2002 Lincoln LS with Oklahoma license plate 775DSN.
Smith, police say, is Type II diabetic and has high blood pressure and cholesterol. He is in need of his medicines Tuesday night.
