PURCELL, Oklahoma -- We Kicked off Road Trip Oklahoma at the Purcell High School.

News 9 went to the Family and Consumer Sciences class, and we came on the best day - Taco Salad Day. Students do it all from the first ingredients to the final taste test.

However, Jed wasn't too sure if he liked the taco salad made by Robin and Stan…he turned red!

Then the crews were off to hang out with the FFA (Future Farmers Of America) students. Stan, Robin and Jed got a first-hand lessons in getting chickens ready for show.

It was hard for Jed at first, who almost drowned his chicken! But News 9 members all got the hang of it pretty quickly, and they had a fun time trying to figure out who did the best in the washing department!
